Chesapeake High School Best Bayhawk Buddies established in 2021, has been a club for students to join in order to end the social, physical, and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Bayhawk Buddies operates as a student-run friendship club, which creates buddy pairs between students with and without disabilities. Best Buddies helps to create an inclusive school climate for students and a community culture of acceptance. This program tries to break social barriers with or without a disability.
